Peer Networks Programme.

The Peer Networks Programme is a national initiative for SME leaders that want to combat business challenges, grow and develop their organisation for future success.

What is Peer Networks?

Peer Networks enables businesses to come together to address common issues and challenges, and support one another to recover from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.  

This initiative and is a fantastic opportunity to build a trusted network of connections to support businesses now and in the future, overcome business challenges and recognise and act on new opportunities.

Delivered through a series of virtual, high impact group sessions, participants will gain and reflect on valuable feedback from peers whilst identifying practical solutions to overcome their challenges. 

From marketing to sales to HR to finance expert facilitators will lead the trusted support network, to help build and strengthen SME's in the Tees Valley and improve overall performance.

Who is eligible to join the Peer Networks programme?

Peer Networks is designed for business owners and leaders in the Tees Valley region who may have business challenges.  Overcoming these issues will enable growth within their organisation for future success.

Peer Networks are open to businesses that have been operating for at least a year have two or more employees, and a turnover of £100,000 or more prior to the pandemic.

If you are a leader of an organisation that is looking to survive or thrive you don't need to do this alone.  The Peer Networks programme will enable you to access all the support you need.

The Peer Networks programme is for businesses operating across a range of sectors from retail to hospitality through to offshore energy and advanced manufacturing. 

This programme will enable you to access localised and specific support based on your needs and is delivered by industry experts. 

Come together with other businesses from across the region who are experiencing similar challenges and help tackle these collaboratively, learning and sharing from one another.

How it works:

  • This course is fully funded and there are no costs to the business

  • Peer Networks will drive the focus of each group, so you might want to find out about attracting new customers, supporting your staff, or learning to use digital technology in new ways – whatever are the most important issues for you and your business  

  • Through Peer Networks, businesses could get up to 18 hours of peer to peer action learning workshops and 3.5 hours of 1-2-1 specialist support from professional advisors to suit the needs of the business

How will the programme be delivered and by who?

Peer Networks will take part in workshops within their small groups, plus separate one to one coaching for each business.  These sessions will take place virtually due to the current COVID-19 guidelines.

The Peer Networks programme will be delivered and facilitated by a team of industry and sector based experts. 

The Tees Valley Business Hub will be working collaboratively with the SME Centre For Excellence and a team of associates to deliver these high impact informative and engaging workshops.
